How it Works
MITA offers an integrated control system with inverter as optional equipment for its units: MCS MITA Control System.
The minimum temperature limit theoretically achievable by a cooling tower is represented by the wet bulb temperature of the atmospheric air measured in the installation area. The correct sizing of a cooling tower is carried out considering the highest wet bulb value found during the year, without considering the variability of this temperature.
MITA Control System (MCS) constantly monitors the heat output, ensuring project performance as the wet bulb temperature varies and optimizing the cooling tower operations. Thus unnecessary waste during the day and year is avoided. MCS is a simple, reliable and efficient system which can be installed on board the machine or remotely. It is equipped with an inverter inserted in a panel with IP54 protection and it has a probe for temperature measurement.

Some MITA Projects
MCC for the Rotor Dynamics Lab (University of Pisa)
MITA Cooling Technologies and technological research in the academic field: in 2015 we took part in the tender for a cooling system of the two engine test stands annexed to the Rotordynamics Laboratory of the University of Pisa: an area of 200 m2 in the San Rossore Protected Park. The result was the installation of an MCC closed circuit evaporative cooling tower.

In 2015 a Cuban brewery needed to replace the ammonia condensation system (NH3) attached to the compressors of the refrigeration units: MITA Cooling Technologies installed 6 evaporative condensers, also modernizing the production process.
Learn MoreCreta Farm cuts energy bill with Mita adiabatic technology
After a devastating fire Creta Farm decided to rebuild and install a cutting edge energy efficient solutionfor the production plant in Crete. The prestigious assignment to design the new cold storage went to ecoRef in Athens. They designed an indirect cooling system with R407F and Temper -15 as secondary fluid using adiabatic Mita technology. The results have exceeded the expectations with significantly reduced energy costs.
